Needs analysis
We will go through the processes that take the most time with you and prioritize them by effort and benefit. At the end, you will have a list of what is worth automating and what is not.
Process automation
In many companies, the same data exists in three systems, and someone transfers it by hand. This wastes hours every week and causes errors that are only noticed later.
We take a look at your workflows, connect the systems you already use, and automate the steps that do not require human decision-making. As a tool, we use n8n, combined with AI wherever a workflow needs to understand language or classify content.
We don't just analyze, we build it. Because we manage websites, interfaces, and hosting anyway, our work doesn't end with a recommendation.
Six modules, from the initial inventory to ongoing operations. They can be obtained individually or together.
We will go through the processes that take the most time with you and prioritize them by effort and benefit. At the end, you will have a list of what is worth automating and what is not.
Your systems stay where they are. We connect them via interfaces so that your shop, accounting, CRM, and mailbox no longer work separately from each other.
Addresses, orders, and status changes flow automatically from one system to the next. Double data entry is eliminated, and everyone involved sees the same status.
Instead of scattered standalone solutions, everything runs in an environment that you can view. Every process is documented, every error traceable.
Paper forms, email approvals, Excel lists: We first convert processes like these into a clean digital format. Only after that can they be meaningfully automated.
A language model can classify a request, read a document, or prepare a draft response. We integrate these steps, the approval remains with you.
Step 1
We record your processes and note how much time a step takes today and where it gets stuck. From this, we create a list sorted by benefit.
Step 2
We are building the first workflow for production and running it in parallel with the current procedure for a while. This way, you can see the result before you rely on it.
Step 3
Interfaces change, which is why automations require maintenance. Upon request, we monitor the processes and intervene if one stops.
Not every process needs to be automated. What happens rarely, changes constantly, or requires professional judgment is better left manual. And automation that no one in the company understands is a risk, not an asset. That is why we document every process in such a way that you can understand it even without us.
Strict safety regulations apply in rail transport. Incidents must be systematically recorded, ranging from property damage and personal injury to irregularities. Each type of report requires different information.
We built a reporting tool for DB Cargo Switzerland where the form reacts to the report type. Anyone submitting a sick leave notice is automatically asked for the duration of the absence and directly attaches the medical certificate as a photo from their smartphone camera. Upon submission, the HR department and the direct supervisor are automatically copied.
The tool runs on all devices in the company, is multilingual, and can be expanded step-by-step with additional fields and rules. That is precisely what process automation is about: not just another form, but a workflow that knows by itself who needs to take action next.
With usability and customizability as the top priority, flink think GmbH was able to convince the decision-makers at DB Cargo Schweiz. Thanks to the competent advice and creative approach, we were able to map our requirements in the reporting tool.

n8n is a platform where workflows are built as flowcharts. It can be run on your own server, allowing you to keep control of where your data is stored.
No. The starting point is the systems you use today. A switch can make sense, but it is not a prerequisite for automation.
Each process gets error handling and notification. It is important that a failure is noticed and does not silently lose data in the background.
Our servers are located in Switzerland, so n8n runs accordingly on Swiss infrastructure. As soon as a language model is involved, where the processing takes place depends on the provider. We clarify this before setting up and document in writing which data takes which path.
We are providing an offer according to your requirements. The quote is broken down into individual items and modules so that the cost of each process remains transparent. This allows you to omit individual parts or add them later.
For businesses where the same information is manually entered multiple times, and for all those where a recurring process regularly wastes time. For very small volumes, the effort to set it up is often greater than the benefit.
