domain authority
Domain Authority is a type of quality seal for a website. It indicates how relevant the website is for specific topics and with what quality it covers them.
There are no fixed guidelines for how Domain Authority is calculated. Every analysis provider has its own algorithm. As a rule, however, good content, qualitative Backlinks as well as a high domain trust, have a very positive effect on the domain authority.
Important to know: Domain Authority is not a metric from Google, but an invention of SEO tools. Google does not use it for ranking.
The value is still useful, but only by comparison. Anyone who places their own domain next to that of competitors gets a feel for the scale. It is not suitable as an absolute goal, and it can be inflated by purchased backlinks without increasing visibility.
