User experience is meant to describe the experience a user has when visiting a website. The experience includes every interaction with the website - be it the navigation or the visual perception in relation to the web design.

User experience goes beyond the website. It begins with the expectation someone brings to the page and doesn't end with submitting a form, but with the response that comes after.

Usability is part of it, but not the same thing. A page can be easy to use and still leave a bad experience, for example if content is outdated or promises are not kept. Conversely, users forgive minor usability hurdles if they reach their goal quickly.
