Gutenberg

The Gutenberg editor is the visual content editor, which with the WordPress Version 5 was introduced. The content is organized in the Gutenberg editor in so-called “blocks”. Each section, image, quote, etc. is a block that can also be moved and formatted within the article.

The editor includes blocks for text, images, tables, columns, and buttons. Frequently used combinations can be saved as reusable blocks and used in multiple places.

For posts and simple pages, Gutenberg is sufficient. For complex layouts, we use a Page Builder, because spacing, grids, and behavior across different screen sizes can be controlled more finely there.
